So yessss, I'm still serving my term for the armed forces.

Training's been rather up and down i guess.

But yeah, made a whole new bunch of friends again in the school for specialists.

Now, I am already done with the 5th week, 3 more to go!

This week was quite draining, having navigation exercise at Mandai.

AHHHH I GOT PRICKED BY THORNS, ON MY THIGH.

Before I set off, I thought that a pair of good gloves will do the trick.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

So much for the gloves that cost quite a bomb.

And thanks to the stupid vest we had to wear, I've got bad abrasions on my shoulder.

Well, the extra weight I had was because I volunteered to attach the signal set's stuff onto my vest.

My team got to see this rather huge snake while making our way thru' the terrain.

It sure looks poisonous to me, with it being green and blue in colour.

Our instructor daringly look a fallen branch and poked it.

Oh oh! I saw fireflies too. Amazingly pretty! (:

I think I'll have difficulty doing my night navigation at Tekong in 2 week's time.

Shucks, I feel like I'm totally blind during mandai navg la.

Especially since we were in such close terrain and where the moonlight was so so dim.

I better pray hard that I do get into a team of navigators better than me.

If not, we'll all get lost tgt! HOW GREAT!

Oh yes! I recently got introduced to the term "horrrr-lan"?

APPARENTLY, it means getting lost in the Hokkien dialect.

So weird, using such terms.

Whats even weirder is that sooooooo many people are using that particular term.

Hahahaha, i think it sounds quite urghhhhh.

So what do I do during my very very limited amount of free time out here?

He's got the looks, takes good photos, and yeah, models really well.

Next week's gonna be a rather short week in camp, with Labour Day falling on Fri.

The college choir would be rehearsing at VCH for their coming SYF on that day!

I wanna go!! Shall ask the teachers for permission (:

I visited them weeks ago and sitting thru' their SYF rehearsal sure brought back lots of FOND memories.

I remember doing the set piece, 'Song Without Words II'

The amount of effort we put into really pronoucing the vowels and sounds...

And how the teacher team would do so much for us just to make sure we could give our best!

Speaking about the choir, SIGHHHHH!

I still am uncertain if I'll be able to make it for AEWF this year.

Hopefully I'll be able to take leave or something.
