Oh gosh, this blog has been updated since Sept 2009!
I guess its just a result of plain laziness.
And I think I would love to get back to the habit of updating, because every moment is precious.
And so! I am way past graduating from ACJC, but still a very proud ACSian indeed.
Got offered a place to study Economics at the Singapore Management University in 2011.
Tell me about the difference in tuition fees, as compared to NUS or NTU.
But hey! I prefer's SMU's pedagogy. Its just different.
Heard (I-choose-to-think-so) rumours about the huge amount of stress you get while studying in SMU.
Well, it kind of scares me in a way.. But no matter where you go, you'll definitely encounter it right?
And its how you manage it I guess. Prioritize your life, live it the way you want it to be.
And so, why Economics?
Mmm, its scary cuz I heard its quite different from A Levels?
Well, I can say that its gonna be really relevant to the the world we are living in.
You are able to understand why certain policies and what nots are done in a certain way..
I am also thinking about a career in teaching.
We'll see how it goes for my application for the Teaching Award.
Hopefully all goes well!

NS Updates!
I am left with... 264 days! Which also equates to 8 months plusss more.
Hurray to that! (:
I am really thankful for where I am now (Air Force).
The friends here, mostly, are quite amazing.
And duties are less dreadful as compared to guard duty!
My right knee is starting to hurt again after like running?
Sigh, I hope it doesn't get too bad.

I can't wait for my friends who are studying overseas to be back for their holidays!
Somewhere in May/June?
Time for some serious catching up and enjoying the company of one another (:

I WANNA GO FOR ANOTHER HOLIDAY!
Just got back from Taipei not too long ago, with Mummy and Sis.
Quite proud of myself, I planned the whole trip ((:
From the booking of air tickets, to reserving hotel stays and the moving around.
Its easy cuz we share a common tongue.
And plus the people there are really friendly in general.
Shopping there is quite cheap and food is quite yummy.
I SO MISS THE XXL CHICKEN CUTLET AT SHIHLIN NIGHT MARKET!!
It was so so so good!
And the Taiwanese people love to own small cute puppies.
You see them at every turn of the corner.
I wanna make a trip back there some time in the near future!
And so, next stop! I am thinking of... Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia?
We shall see..

And oh! Did I mention that I finally visited a club at the age of 19!
Lol. Sound quite noobish, I know.
Went to St James Power House with my NS friends.
Quite interesting I must say.
Its all about drinks, deafening music, dancing.
And I think more importantly, the company of friends.
I won't mind to go again!

Tears were shed, hearts broken, for some.
We lost that title to RIJC. But oh well!
The team was just AWESOME to begin with.
Their display of Passion, Integrity and Tenacity, simply amazing. (:

Indeed, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him!

Secondary school clique gathering was great!
Dinner was literally finger licking good, at Timbre @ Substation.

We shared the all famous pizza & buffalo wings.
I had the baby back ribs.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO, so good, so so good! ((:
Not surprising! I laughed a lot.
Its really nice to meet up with those guys after awhile.
We caught up, and sang along with the live band till close midnight!
Thank God we were just in time to catch the last train home.

Went for youth service yesterday with Grace, Joseph, Zephy, Evan, Clarissa & Pris!
Satisfied my 'roasted duck plus char siew rice' craving from Vista Point's food court. (:
After service, Joe drove Grace, Zeph and I to Holland Village!
Met Syahir and Eunice at Swensens for 2 Topless 5s.
And a 'sort of' belated birthday surprise for Zephy with the free b'day ice cream.

:/ So tmr will be the day I report to my new training unit.
Engineer Specialist? Jowell? I don't know if it fits.
But ah well, I'm placed to be there for a special reason and purpose.
Its just sooner or later that I will get to find out why.

Today was supposedly section outing! But only 7 turned up.

Played badminton at Bishan Sports Hall.
It feels good to just sweat it out.
Then lunch at Pastamania!

Everyday seems to be filled with so much spending!
Gotta start saving up.

Sigh! Uni offers and Teaching award outcome hasn't been bright.
I don't really know whats going on over at their side.
I am feeling quite insecure and scared of what's to come.

Hello guys! :DDDDDDDD
QUICK UPDATES!

Urban operations was what I did basically for this week!
We went to some ulu place in Jurong?
Well, they actually built model shophouses, buildings and even a school.
Just for us to practise our movements.
What's interesting is that all the shophouses names belonged to some officer.
Oh oh! There are a zillion centipedes crawling around.

Visited the choir at VCH on Labour Day!
They had their syf rehearsal there.
Caught X-Men with some of them.
And dinner at Paragon's Sushi Tei with Mummy and Sissy.
It was sooooooooooo good!

Grandma's 89th birthday celebration on Sat!
At some Teochew restaurant at Beach Road.
Gosh, the family is expanding!
With all the cousins bringing their FRIENDS along.
Hahaha.
And to my surprise!! So many cousins are getting married soon!
Like either this or next year.

Went for adult service today!
GOOD GOOD GOOD.

BACK TO BLOG AFTER A ZILLION YEARS! :D

AN AWESOME NEWS TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS!

I GOT MY FIRST ACCEPTANCE LETTER TODAY FROM NTU!

I secured a place to read ECONOMICS!

So yessss, I'm still serving my term for the armed forces.

Training's been rather up and down i guess.

But yeah, made a whole new bunch of friends again in the school for specialists.

Now, I am already done with the 5th week, 3 more to go!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (((((:

This week was quite draining, having navigation exercise at Mandai.

AHHHH I GOT PRICKED BY THORNS, ON MY THIGH.

Before I set off, I thought that a pair of good gloves will do the trick.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

So much for the gloves that cost quite a bomb.

And thanks to the stupid vest we had to wear, I've got bad abrasions on my shoulder.

Well, the extra weight I had was because I volunteered to attach the signal set's stuff onto my vest.

My team got to see this rather huge snake while making our way thru' the terrain.

It sure looks poisonous to me, with it being green and blue in colour.

Our instructor daringly look a fallen branch and poked it.

Oh oh! I saw fireflies too. Amazingly pretty! (:

I think I'll have difficulty doing my night navigation at Tekong in 2 week's time.

Shucks, I feel like I'm totally blind during mandai navg la.

Especially since we were in such close terrain and where the moonlight was so so dim.

I better pray hard that I do get into a team of navigators better than me.

If not, we'll all get lost tgt! HOW GREAT!

Oh yes! I recently got introduced to the term "horrrr-lan"?

APPARENTLY, it means getting lost in the Hokkien dialect.

So weird, using such terms.

Whats even weirder is that sooooooo many people are using that particular term.

Hahahaha, i think it sounds quite urghhhhh.

I visited them weeks ago and sitting thru' their SYF rehearsal sure brought back lots of FOND memories.

I remember doing the set piece, 'Song Without Words II'

The amount of effort we put into really pronoucing the vowels and sounds...

And how the teacher team would do so much for us just to make sure we could give our best!

Speaking about the choir, SIGHHHHH!

I still am uncertain if I'll be able to make it for AEWF this year.

Hopefully I'll be able to take leave or something.

PROM STUFF SETTLED, like finally! (:

I think its quite simple.
Walked around town with mummy and sissy on sunday after prom shopping.

Headed to The Heeren to try out the new jap pasta restaurant, Waraku.

Me, being curious, tried the SEA URCHIN pasta. Lol.

It taste like... I don't know, the sea?

WHAT AN ANSWER RIGHT! I KNOW.

And so my monday was spent in school!

Met jonny for lunch at Ghim Moh market.

Tried the famous char kway teow there.

The queue was really longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.

Anyway! Practised our guys farewell song.

And JJ and I met Yihui at Holland Village for dinner.

I have not seen that girl for quite some time!

Went to this new cafe for dessert. (:

AND TODAY!

Practised farewell song, again! in the morn.

Brought my lappy to school, watched Amazing Race at the concourse while i waited for the rest.

So finally, we left school for New York New York, at CityLink.

The 3 Jos (Jowell, Joelle, Joel) & Gen shared a giant yankee chicken burger!

It was good, but super filling.

And so we had FOOD FIGHT with fries and cotton candy.

LOL, hilarious.

AND THAT HARTONO BOY!

He wanted to find out what song the guys are singing for farewell.

And so, took my lappy and tried to on it.

But he had to pass the face detection bit to gain access.

AND BEING HARTONO, he used a photo of me, from his phone.

Thinking that my lappy will be able to detect my face thru his phone.

A LEVELS ARE OVERRRRRRRRRRR!
OMG, someone shout that in my ear please.

Sat through rehearsal today.
Firstly, my sound is so bad. I haven't been singing for months!
But yeah, it sure is nice to sing familiar tunes.
Lunch at the "old-love" Kobanyashi with the Jo, Vicky, Gailly, Jerome and Alex.
And went window shopping!
Bumped into quite a number of juniors from Peirce too.
So much of walking, but nothing caught my eye today.
Met the comm for dinner!
Sadly steph and darryl couldn't make it.
But oh wells! I just enjoy their company so much.
All the nonsense that we enjoy.
Plus plus 2 Din Tai Feng XLB with the girlyyys and Mark.

Yesterday was all fun too!
Met Jon and JJ for lunch, at my favourite noodle stall in AMK.
Then crapped our way thru' at Macs while waiting for Cal.
Bumped into Cal's place for awhile.

It's like visiting all the places that I used to go when I was younger. LOL.

Hello World!

I'm back! After months and months of mugging.
I'm serious! These past few months have been the most stressful.
Its the crazy lil' thing called the A LEVELS.
You need to go thru it once, and never again.
And doing exams twice, Prelims and the actual is not nice at all.
The prelims weren't that good plus demoralising.

Anyway! The exams are gonna be overrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
SAY IT WITH ME.
OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!(:

I'm just left with Physics MCQs on Tuesday.
In general, the papers were much better than prelims.
But then again, they were more complex and unconventional compared to previous years.
Shall not think about it till Feb/March 2009!
I have this feeling that the post-exams boredom is gonna hit me very soon.
Inevitably, one will feel weird not mugging his way through out the day.
After like, gazallion months of almost hardcore studying.

ANYWAY!
I have to start planning what I'm gonna do for Post-As.
For a start! I'm gonna meet YapSeng tmr for dinner and study.

Stayoversssss, Get-togethers, shopping for Seniors' Night............

When I don't get to listen to the corniest/lamest jokes from my class & teachers.
When I don't get to hang out in the Heritage Room and have choir rehearsals.
When I don't get to sit at the void deck and just slack.

The list just goes on and on and on.

Let me say that my AC experience is more than AWESOME.
I thank God for bringing me to this once foreign institution.
And for the wondership friends I've got to meet..
The knowledge imparted to me, be it academic or otherwise.
i will always remember the days spent in college.

Boy oh boy, please someone blow off the dust on this blog.

Time flies like nobody's business.

Life for me have been filled with many ups and downs.

And i still am thankful to be in the college.

Well because I never stop learning.

So yes, today is the day.

After months and months of preparations and rehearsals.

The choir will be flying off tonight, well sort of.

Bound to Vienna via Dubai.

Deep down inside, I am feeling insecure.

My friend asked, aren't you afraid of As.

Well....

My answer to that.. Is to be really disciplined when I get back.

Seriously.

On the other hand, I really can't wait to perform on the competition stage.

I wanna give the best I can. (:

For the college, for the team, and for myself.

Alittle selfish, but who cares.

I need to train for Napfa too.

I wanna get that silver.

It's so close, within reach.

I am determined.

You know, life has been quite life changing.

And that crucial examinations are in like months?

Its THE examination that will either make or break my future.

ZOMG!
I SWEAR I HATE MOSQUITOES! )):

Last night, I spent my precious time trying to killing that stuuupid insect.
But FAILED
So, I sense that its gonna suck my SWEEEET blood.
Therefore i used the blanket to cover myself to my neck.

TO MY HORROR, waking up just 2 hours after going into dreamland,
I GOT BITTEN ALL OVER MY ARMS AND FACE.
RARRRRRRRRRRRRR!
One was quite sexyyy, near my eye. -.-
So i packed all my essentials (HAHA) and camped over at Mum's room.
Applied medication and all before turning in again.

Thank God I am safe, if nottttt!
You MOZZIEZZXSZS will pay for it!

I'm almost done with GP package.

Met up with Kah Teik at Plaza Singapura for lunch
I think the Indonesian Food at the food court is quite good. (:
Jiayi met us.
Khoo Shu was late! and Claire TEH had dance meeting.
So we all bummed our way to meet at the MRT station.

Then Jias and I left for Lavander.
Extended my passport for Tour.
Thank god the queue was quite acceptable.
Jias was laughing at my 'younger days' photoshot.

Then off to Bugis.
Sweet Talk and Old Chang Kee Curry Puff to find that stomach of mine.
Met Myron, Grace and Tania at Arab Street.
Been there for the past 2 days!
Hah, and yes, after much thought...
Decided to buy the Bagu.
Freaking 90 bucks.
I felt so so bad getting Mummy to pay for it.

Then went to Little India to accompany Jias and Tania to get their stuff.

SURPRISE SURPRISE! :D
I did okay yeap.
And yeah, the ultimate As results release.
Made me really think about how I should not be complacent anymore.

After soaking ourselves in the atmosphere!
Gracie, Hap, Ken and I went off to town!
No movie we can catch before 6 pm.
So dinner we went! The Indo BBQ at PS's Food court.
It's pretty sur-dap.
Then to do the "aunty" shopping with Grace at Spotlight.

OH YES! UNCLE GOT ME A NEW NOTEBOOK!
Hahahahaha.
I'm such a fortunate boy.
In replacement of my spoiled Acer Notebook.

Greetings from the long lost Jowell!

It has been a wonderful past 2 weeks of school for me!
Orientation was seriously a BLAST!
My privilege of being an OGL, really.
I may not have been the best OGL, but yes, I hope my efforts allowed my OG, Genbu, to somewhat adapt to the environment in ACJC.

I will always remember the times I had to fight the crazy noise level to teach my OG the school song.
I will always remember mass rally, especially the one in the rain. Seeing the J1s cheer their heart out really made me feel the sense of satisfaction.
I will always remember the bonds forged together with the other OGLs and J1s.

I have gained much valuable lessons from each day of orientation and yes, I am sure it will be of great importance in my future endeavour, whatever it may be.

So as school officially starts for me, I can feel the stress level slowly building.
But its alright! Face them, and take on new challenges.

Ask me why is my 2007 painted with Red, Blue, and Gold?
Well, the answer is simple.
My year has seriously been revolving around college.
Anglo-Chinese, that is.
I am proudly say that this year in AC has really been awesomely fruitful.
Talking about 'pushing to the limit', I have really did that this year.
Boy, never did I thought that I will be here one year ago.
I should thank Hon Ding & my Chinese Tutor for reminding me the existence of the college.
LOL.
Cuz last year time, I had the mindset that, "Okay, so Anderson will it be for college!"
I still remember the first time I set foot in AC was during last year's Fun-O-Rama.
And after coming to know that I actually have seniors from Peirce there too!
And Mr Ezzy Chan, my previous Physics teacher, saying...
"You should go to that school, its really good!"
And to know that there's a straight route bus to school, really became an 'incentive'.

And so yes, I decided to give it a try for PAE.
My mindset of discrimination against neighbourhood schools was gone.
Thanks to my wonderful OG, Poseidon, and my PAE class, 1SA2.
It was really helluva fun during the course of PAE.
And not to forget, CCA Day.
Never, and I mean it! Never did I thought of joining choir. Hah.
To be frank, I never heard of the ACJC Choir.
Well maybe its becuz I am not from any secondary school choir to start with.
And so, I just decided to go for auditions and give it a try.
I tell you, it was super scary! Cuz they made me sing to music scales and the Peirce anthem.
And to my big surprise, I got chosen.
A Tenor 2, I was.
Then came JAE.
Boy, I was literally stuck to AC.
When I got my O levels results, I broke down.
That's becuz my score ain't good enough to get me a place.
I was so frightened that I will have to settle for Nanyang then.
But thank god! My appeal got accepted, and much thanks to the choir.

So yes, I couldn't stay on with SA2, and went on to 1SA7 instead.
Nightmare began when I knew that it is a sports class.
But then, they really proved me WRONG! Like totally.
Now, I can say that SA7 has the most wonderful people!

Back to the choir.
So yes, it was very challenging for someone like me, who cannot read music.
And I just had to memorize the sharps, flats, pp, p, mp, mf, f, ff, rhythms & general sound.
Then came SYF.
Oh boy, sectionals dragged till late in the night.
I was so tired.
But yes, our efforts paid off. (:
And soon, it was AEWF, the choir's annual concert.
My first time performing on the stage of the Esplanade Concert Hall!
(:
Then came Committee Elections.
Just wanted to give back what the choir has given me.
And Resource & Relations was the post I got.
All the stacks of scores. Hah.
Then, I was up-ed to take the role of Vice-President, due to Bryan's own reasons.
CCAAB really changed and tested my limits.
And by then, I made so many new friends.
Social circle widened.

And to academics.
I struggled, I don't deny that.
But yes, I believe in hardwork.
Just make the extra effort.
Terms results was pretty demoralizing.
And then to the oh-so-big Promos.
Thank god again, I improved from the previous, apart from Chemistry, which I have to buck up!

After promos, the festive performance practices went full swing!
Learning of Christmas carols and SLO's Magnificat music.
Singing at the CBD area and Esplanade was really special.
It really gave the batch to bond much more!
And then to singing with an orchestra at the Esplanade Concert Hall.
This will be a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing!
I am glad I have gotten that opportunity to do just so. :D

Then to being an OGL.

Oh boy, so much happened this past week!
Caroling at the CBD area every other day was really an experience.
Plus the SLO rehearsals and concerts.
Singing with an orchestra for 2 nights.
And finally, caroling at the Esplanade Concourse.
WOW.
Its been really a nice journey thru' this festive season.
So many opportunities to perform and just bless others with our music.

I'm so really proud of my batch!

After this whole week of singing, I realised something.
Tiredness can be overcome by one's mental strength.
Really.

And yes, had a class christmas gathering yesterday.
I was enjoying it, with the food and laughter.
Till something happened..

Today, our last caroling as a batch this year.
At somewhere rather close to our hearts.
And to see so many people enjoying the music making.
Really makes me very satisfied, as a musician. (:
The response was really good as the college and alumni choir sang.
A big family coming tgt to make music tgt.
Just how awesome is that?

Gotta thanks those who gave me their cards filled with well wishes.
As we enter the festive season, celebrate the friendships and love!

So yes, today's rehearsal was great and tgt with CIP prep.
After which, a few of us headed to lunch at Subway,
Then to Cold Storage to get the groceries for our Choir Christmas Party tmr.

So, the oh-so-kind Ziyun decided to ask her maid to help us with the food.
So I went on to town with Nic and Kenneth.
"Poor" Nic was comtemplating so hard whether to go to town or not.
HAHAHA!
She did in the end, anyway.
So yes, we got to Art Friend in Taka.
I swear its one of the longest HOURS I spent there.
LOL.
Poor legs of mine, aching from yesterday's run.
And yes, after much considering...
Seriously, MUCH!
Nic got her gifts for her J1 and J2.
Phewwww.
But they are cute lah, thanks to my wonderful idea. :D

Past few days were good!

Well anyway, I met up with Annabel (Bell Bell) for dinner on friday.
We had ThaiExpress!
Like AGAIN! 3rd time within a week.
Looks like I'm putting my membership card to good use.

So yes, we chatted and laughed.
Caught Beowulf at Cathay.
RARRRRRRRR, I slept for awhile. Lol.
But I guess the animation is not that bad lah.

Just before I head off to dream land...
Today was nice.
We had Carl's Jr at Suntec!
Finally I got to lay my hands on the onion rings and salsa sauce.

Mum was funny enough to keep us occupied with some photo game.
Sat their for quite a long while before heading to Conrad.

Changed and quickly settled down to switch to performance mode.
We got some delicious smoked salmon sandwich
And yes, warmed up a bit before sound check.
Boy, the space we had for performing was so so limited.
I was leaning against a mini stage with oh-so- expensive looking art pieces.
So yeah, the environment was quite bad.
But yes, we survived it!
It was really a test of our trust.
Though we couldn't hear the note for Ondeh Ondeh,
We still tried our best and just sang. (:

The past 2 days had been really wonderful in some sense.

Friday was the Centre for Performing Arts Gala Dinner at Ritz Carlton.
It was great!
One of the longest sound check we had.
We blessed others with our music (:
A nice finale, That's What Friends Are For.
And the ACS Anthem to end off the night.

Saturday was a sad one for the choir and college.
Oh well, shall not elaborate about it.
A wedding dinner I attended in the evening at Grand Hyatt.
Nice wine, and okay food. (:

All I can say is that I'm really blessed.
Being given the opportunity to go for the camp.
It really allowed me to discover more about myself.
Plus all the leadership models.
And a totally awesome group who is always there to encourage me.
They are really a great bunch of leaders.
Though mentally and physically torturing,
It was all worth the while.
Thank you guys for such a wonderful 4 days, 3 nights.

Mass physical training, Challenge pole, Zipline with free fall, 5 rounds round the track with the stretcher, Wake up call @ 2.30 am , Changing parade, Land expeditions on Bukit Timah Hill, Operation Night Bird , Campfire, Cheers, Situational games, Crawling through drains, and endless push ups!

RESULTS DAY TMR!
I really don't know what to say.
The thought of having classmates retaining really is painful.

Oh yes, the councillors announced the results for AC Games today.
We got 2nd best class.

So today was a really productive day. (:

WHAT A SUPER LONG DAY IS TODAY!
Was having a headache in the morning.
So met up with Bastard late.
I'm so so sorry!
Then we crapped all the way to Orchard.
Had Burger King for breakfast,
And then headed to Lido to meet the rest.
Gen, Xiaohui, Shuwen, Jonah, Edmund, Jeco, Kevin.
Had lunch at Billy Bombers.
Then catched Rush Hour 3. (:
Got me laughing quite a bit.
Then, met up with Mel, tgt with Bastard to have cheap dinner.
Played Air Hockey.
Mel kicked Bastard's ass lah. :D
Then went all the way to Paradiz Centre, wanting to play pool.
But it was packed.
So we had dessert and headed to PS to meet Chye Aik.

And now, I am at Sexy's house.
Staying over for the night for tmr sectionals.

It feels great to go running once more.
Bumped into 2 incidents while I was at the park.
While running, I saw this old lady strolling towards me.
Then i was thinking to myself that she sure knows how to keep fit.
The next moment she passed me, i heard something.
Something just so random and out of the blue.
EXCREMENT! (in gaseous state)
I was laughing, as i ran faster to escape from 'poison'.
HAHAHA.
Then there was this Malay chap.
Oh boy, he really has the puniest brains, i tell you.
He was SMOKING in the park.
I just gave him a stare.
Enough for him to hide his bud away from my sight.
Haha.

Feeling a little fatigue now, but well.

Its really really awesome to be back in Peirce. (:
Doing those Peirce cheers once more, just is great.
Its some kind of gathering for the alumni too.
Since everyone is always so so busy with our own work.

Its feels alittle awkward to be working with my juniors again.
Their immaturity and kawai-ness. HAHA.
But well, got to learn much again.

Was out with Nehneh and Sexy on friday.

We went Cafe Cartel yet again.
This time was at the one at Plaza Sing.
Met some secondary school mates here and there.
And yes, we crapped quite abit.

Laughing our asses off. :D
Tried the Wireless@SG service with Sexy's PSP.
Not to forget we did study quite a fair bit okay. Hah.

And oh boy, the songs we will be singing for the collaboration with SLO,
is just HEAVENLY.

Hello, and JYong is back.
Common tests are finally over!
But yes, i pretty much screwed them up.
Gonna have to 'redeem' myself for Terms.
Chinese Promos Oral and Listening Compre's this coming week.
Crap.

Anyway, AEWF's just 8 days away!
That is like in almost a week's time.
Seriously looking forward to perform in that concert hall.
What's more is that it is a SOLD OUT concert! :D
1600 plus seats all taken up.
Might have a stay over after that? We shall see..

Today's rehearsal was pretty fruitful.
Went thru' the concert repertoire.
Dr. Kelly Tang, who commissioned a song for us, came today.
We got to sing his song for him, and got some feedback then after.
After rehearsal, dinner at Holland Village.
This time, more economical. Hahaha!
Ate at the foodcourt, together with Tania, Hope, Nevielle and Kenneth.
Nice company of friends. (:

Last week of school before the term closes.
And here comes the holidays!

:D I'm really glad with what we got for our SYF.
Though the award's ain't the best.
The performance was a Gold With Honours performance.
I can proudly say that.
I am really looking forward to AEWF.
It's the time to share and bless others with our music making.
And yes, no need to bother about time limit! Hahaha.
So tmr, another day of music making with the rest. (:

Tests having been really bad.
Screwing up this and that.
NAPFA is quite bad also.
With Silver as the benchmark for a Pass.

Visiting my friends' blogs really allows me to reminiscence.
The good old days back in Peirce.
The New Zealand trip with KCP.
The many friends i got to know along the way.
All the friendships forged for the past 4 years.

Oh my word.
Its been ages, serious ages, since i last blogged.
Well, hello there to those to still pop by my blog. (:

Life for the past one month has been really amazing.
From the setbacks i faced, to the many things i learnt along the way.
One thing's for sure is that college life sure ain't as easy as you think.
The pace of work is fast and never-ending tests keep coming up.
I can say that I am still coping fine with everything.
But yeah, sacrifices had been made.
Computer time, T.V time, Sleeping time...
Choir rehearsals are getting much intense as we approach SYF and AEWF.

Daily morning practices, trying to get everything right.
I am glad to say that I have learnt a whole lot from all these.
Project work started and yeah.
I am alittle uncertain about it.
Oh well, i have to keep trying aye.

Some events that happened across this period of almost a month...
I got to attend RJC's Choir concert.
Had a stay over at a friend's house, which was really great.
Sing, sang, and sung almost every other day. Hah!
Swim PE! Hah, its really not that bad after all.
Had fun, though it can be really tiring after that.
Victoria Concert Hall rehearsals, was really quite awesome.
Public performance at lift lobby 2 days ago.
Its feels great to see fellow ACSians supporting us.
Have not been doing well in academia.
Might be due to commitments like choir.
But yeah, I must really have the discipline to stay focus.
Keep going, Jowell! (:

Just fell ill 2 days ago.
With a sore throat and alittle of flu.
But yes, i must and will get well.

SYF is just 4 days away.
AEWF, 24 days away.

Let's go choir, spread the passion and love for music.

NAPFA test will be beginning next week.
I just gonna try my best.
Cuz in AC, a pass is a Silver.
So yeah. (:

Met up with YW, Choon, Eug, HH and his girlfriend in town today.
Passed them the tickets and had lunch tgt.
Its really awesome to see you guys once again.

Quite a lot of event came and flew past this week.
Choir rehearsals are getting more intensive.
Work load is forever bugging me.
The China SM2 scholars left us this week.
And yeah, they were really nice to talk to.

Did work together and caught a movie.

Its been quite some time since Jowell blogged.
What else than busying with school?

Had our debut performance in our concert gear today.
Well, 31 of March, that is. (:
At the Hilton Hotel, the farewell dinner for Perm. Sect. of MOE.
With the eduction minister around too.
It was really a great experience.
Was feeling all jittery before that.
Josh and i were going thru' the score repetitively.
Hah, and also to help him feel more secure.

Terrence, the guy who made me laughed during rehearsal.
And Mrs, Wilson thought I was being emo.

And yeah, it was good.
The enthusiasm to keep perfecting were in us.
By far, I think our J1 batch will do fine, if we continue with the right attitude.
And yes, we have 5 new Tenors to the ACJC Choir family.

Monday, I had the longest running sectionals ever.
Almost 8 hours spent.
But yeah, I don't mind as long we learnt.

Today, slacked.
Orchard-bound we went after school.
We refering to Joy, Annabel, XW, and some AC mates.
Pastamania we went and lunched.
The 'fun' factor comes in after lunch.
Sampling food is Soon Soon's forte, I tell you.
Soon Soon 'stole' 7 brownie samples from Mrs. Fields.
She didn't stop here, we made our way to Taka.
And I met cousin Shennie. (:
Soon soon craved for muah chee.
And yes, got her temptations satisfied.
